Living with a Physician
I live with a doctor. He constantly offers medical advice. For the most part, this comes in handy, but sometimes it’s downright frustrating. I struggle to be a healthy person. I really love to eat and drink wine and I’m not crazy about exercise.
My husband and I have been together for almost 40 years and married for over 25 years. He spends his days telling patients how to live a healthy lifestyle, and a lot of that advice makes its way home. Much of it is given while we’re at the dinner table, when friends or family members ask medical questions or seek his opinion. It seems the communal act of sharing a meal and some wine makes guests feel emboldened to ask anything! We’ve discussed bathroom habits, dead bodies, blood, colonoscopies, and more while enjoying a meal and some wine.

While you’re at it, you’ll learn about some of the meals and wine we’ve enjoyed, plus get a look at how we entertain and decorate our home.
